Tetra Pak wins recycling award

On April 25, Tetra Pak Canada Inc. was presented with the Recycling Council of Ontario (RCO) Waste Minimization Promotion Award for its communication campaign on the addition of Tetra Pak cartons to Toronto’s Blue Box recycling collection program.
Titled "The blue Box Just Got Bigger," the campaign generated overall awareness and encouraged more than 70 per cent of Canadian households to recycle the products. Tetra Pak Canada, based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, provides processing and packaging systems to liquid food and cheese manufacturers.
